What is your path?

Choose the path that applies to you: Zizofa then adapts the themes and questions to the residence permit you are preparing for.

The Multi-year Residence Permit

A residence permit issued for several years after an initial permit. The interview focuses on the values and functioning of the Republic.

The Resident Card

A 10-year residence card, automatically renewable. It requires a stronger level of civic knowledge than the multi-year residence permit.

Naturalization

Application for French nationality by decree. The assimilation interview is the most demanding of the three paths.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Zizofa and the civic exam

No. Zizofa is a private preparation platform, independent of the French administration. The exam is taken exclusively through official channels, and they alone issue the official certificate. Zizofa is designed to prepare you for the questions asked on the day of your interview.
Zizofa covers three procedures: the multi-year residence permit, the resident card, and naturalization. You select your situation at the start, and the content adapts to the requirements of your path. Since citizenship concepts are common to all three, the app remains useful even if your case is unique.
Yes. Lessons are written in simple French, without complicated administrative jargon. Oral practice allows you to repeat each response as many times as you like, at your own pace and without judgment, which is often the best way to gain confidence before the interview.
Chaque leçon est disponible en audio : vous pouvez l’écouter dans les transports, en marchant, ou simplement pour varier votre façon de réviser. Un chapitre entier peut être téléchargé pour une écoute hors connexion, sans consommer de données mobiles.
It depends on your starting level and your interview date. You enter this date in the app, and the dashboard shows your progress theme by theme so you know where to focus your efforts. A few minutes of regular review are more effective than long, spaced-out study sessions.
